Alliance Governing Board Hosts Virtual Forum for Black and African American Scholars, Families, and Staff (2/19)
Employee Relations & Engagement: Alliance Governing Board Hosts Employee Relations & Engagement: Alliance Governing Board Hosts Virtual Forum for Black and African American Scholars, Families, and Staff (2/19)
Throughout the year, Board Members Virgil Roberts and Clarence Miller hosted forums for our Black and African American community to gather and share their lived experiences at Alliance. The feedback we received directly informed the direction of Alliance’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) and Anti-racism Roadmap for the 2020-21 school year.
Our fourth conversation on The Black & African American Experience at Alliance: A Safe Space for Scholars, Families, and Staff will be held on February 22 at 5:00 p.m. We will spend time building connections and reflecting on our past, present, and future.
Please register here and a Zoom video conference link will be provided for use on your internet-enabled phone, computer, or tablet. This is a voluntary event and limited to Alliance scholars, families, and staff members who identify as Black or African American. You are welcome to attend even if you were unable to join the first three forums. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]
