hi this is your principal mr. Sanchez here to talk about what does it mean to be over in Texas are called academic achievers Mastery of curriculum and considered we're also 21st century resources Detective Lee who speaks Anderson's reflectively rate and rice critically and develop sound arguments and decisions that is what it means to be a college hi my name is Michelle I'm one of your system principals at Burton Tech resources new upcoming technological resources advances that can help our students with in the 21st century to be prepared and ready we don't want them to feel at a disadvantage when they get out into society when they leave us we want them to be ready and willing to go to college or then I have to go whatever they choose to fall if they want to go into a career they want to go to the military who wanted to make good choices sound choices based on what they turned in school on we want them to have super skills and one of those super skills is to be affected hello my name is I think what it means to Be an Effective Communicator is that you're able to talk to a group of people when you know where you're talking about however you're able to listen to other opinions you're able to be objective and the situation and able to understand how their perspective hello my name is Andrea and student at Birds stop playing become an effective Communicator by Ashley giving an opportunity such as and then use the member which I am like those what that help out your grade how do I help others in school and also in clubs are in college classes 811 grader offered in Sac when I hear it effective communicators I think of a person who talk about a subject they know and I'd only talk to learn how to listen to others it's important to Be an Effective Communicator because in the future we're going to we're going to have to work with others when is talking because affected these arguments in schools not only in math class in history basically and every subject and I am part of first-time student and I'm on 12th grader effective Communicator to me what's fix somebody that's able to not only speak to a person or give out information they they serve relation to go now base of evidence if he found based on Research maybe they're able to print anything based on something be read and then able to share button and to make their own opinion started and what is support their opinions we are constantly given access to computers and technology so it's easy to be in concert Communications colleges or with the counselors you can email them and respond back to you I'm the assistant director here Alliance Burton Tech High School one of the things that we Trader store in our students and to the professional development that we give our teachers is that we are structures of literacy salt in every class you will find another way of writing component for the reading components how to make a math class right because in order for students to be College ready they need to be able to long lengthy passages think critically and use that knowledge that they came to write effectively in succeeding College call Salva reading and writing so in order for the student to be successful anywhere whether it's in college military or you know in a career either you have to learn how to think critically and read as well one of the ways that you turn up that just by practicing everyday practice it can be things that you're interested in about the same time you are gaining A literacy skills and learning me where is the destiny vocabulary the more you read in the more you expose yourself to reading the better writer you can come on the path to Greatness
